Saucy Books is opening its doors this summer in West London as London’s first indie bookshop dedicated to romance readers. From steamy paperbacks to swoon-worthy summer reads, we’re here to celebrate stories that make your heart race.

Saucy Books is more than a bookshop — it’s a curated experience with themed collections, exclusive bookish merch, and events designed to spark connection and create community in London and beyond. Whether you’re a lifelong romance reader or just love a good romance novel, we can’t wait for you to be part of our love story!

This summer, Saucy Books is your one-way ticket to pleasure island. Inspired by Venus — goddess of love, beauty, and doing exactly what she pleases — we’ve curated a summer collection that brings the spirit of the Greek isles to London, with seashell pink walls, sun-kissed shelves, and a whole lot of heart.

In celebration of pleasure, Chapter One is curated so you can be the Main Character this summer. Think the sexiest beach reads, hand-crafted works by select artists, saucy merch by local makers, and a relaxing readers’ nook made for lounging and lingering.

Sarah Maxwell is the founder of Saucy Books — a lifelong romantic with a sharp eye for storytelling.
